Our Reno style event, playing 2 of 3 in winners bracket & 1 game to 21 in losers bracket, was a great competition. Chris Treadway (WB) squared off against JJ Price (LB) in the final. After being down 7 - 2 early in game one, Treadway was able to sweep the best of 3 & claim the Division II Singles Championship!

Thanks to everyone who participated in our 12th annual Toys for Tots Tournament! WE collected 61 Toy for Tots! We had 30 people compete in this A/B/C Draw Partner Event. That means 30 others donated a toy & did not play. We also had many people travel from out-of-state to play. DE, MD, NJ, IN and TX were represented. Toys in the past were donated to the Brookline Fire House, Upper Darby School District Students in Delaware County, Patients at the Medical Center of Philadelphia, the Manatawny Association of Montgomery County and The Marines. This year's 61 Toys have been picked up by the Brookline Fire House. Thanks to Patty Pierce, Katie Steel, Robin Bruzzese and Patty Talbot for feeding all of us!
A record 19 shooters participated in our D2 Singles Tourney this past Sunday! And there were six competitors in D1. We also welcomed seven players on their first visit to the Ivy Inn this past weekend. Thanks to our tournament directors Ray Whoriskey, Chris Treadway and Janene Breslin for running two wonderful events. These tournaments conclude our 2019 shuffleboard season at the Ivy. See you next year for the High Life Classic, the start of our 2020 season. This competition is in honor of our great friend & bartender Jack McKay (1935-2007). Jack stood behind the bar at the Ivy for almost 50 years, Jack was known for his quick wit & his timely one liners. A true professional, Jack McKay loved the art of tending bar. This event is a RATED SINGLES TOURNAMENT. 2 separate tourneys: -1's, 0's & 1's. And 2's, 3's & 4's. Winners names will be etched on our Jack McKay Memorial Cup Trophy.
