Join us for 12th annual Toys For Tots Tournament! In our previous 11 tourneys WE have collected over 1,000 Toys!! The rules are simple. To compete in this A/B/C Draw event, a person must bring a Toy for a Tot. A food buffet will be provided for every spectator & competitor about 2pm. Toys in the past have been donated to the Brookline Fire House, Upper Darby School District Students in Delaware County, Patients at the Medical Center of Philadelphia, the Manatawny Association of Montgomery County and The Marines. This year's Toys will go to the Brookline Fire House.
This competition is in honor of our great friend & bartender Jack McKay (1935-2007). Jack stood behind the bar at the Ivy for 30 years, Jack was known for his quick wit & his timely one liners. A true professional, Jack McKay loved the art of tending bar. This event is a RATED SINGLES TOURNAMENT. 2 separate tourneys: -1's, 0's & 1's. And 2's, 3's & 4's. Winners names will be etched on our Jack McKay Memorial Cup Trophy.

There were 10 teams competing for the Ivy Cup A/B Draw Friday evening. After losing their first match of the night, Jeannene Breslin & JJ Price played themselves all the way back to the final. Waiting for them were the husband & wife team of John & Faith Dewees. One dramatic game was all it took for the Dewees duo to claim victory. Trailing late and confronted with four points against, Faith pulled out her span-shot to attack the uncomfortable, 'game laying' predicament that now awaited her. With ice water in her veins, Faith executed a perfect hit & stick combo which proved to be the Championship winning shot. Congrats to our Ivy Cup winners!
There were two separate BRING PARTNER events today. An ADD to 4 and an OPEN BRING. Of the 17 total teams, one of them was not two-time defending ADD to 4 Champions, Tom Brown & Kevin Pellicciotti. There would be no 3-peat this day. There were eight teams in the ADD to 4 event and once again Tom Lake & Kenny Mitchell, Miller Lite Open Champs two months ago, were looking to take down another tournament. This time, however, they would have to double-dip the undefeated team of Jeannene Breslin & Ray Whoriskey. Jeannene & Ray took an early lead & were able to withstand Tom & Ken's comeback effort. They are Ivy Cup Champions! The other nine teams played in the OPEN BRING. This event finale pitted 2-time Ivy Cup Champs Paul Havey & John Hoerdemann (LB) against Ryan Hoy & Bill Kelly (WB). At the score of 12-12, with an open board and hammer, Ryan drew a 3 to win the Ivy Cup. Great shot Ryan Hoy!
